Boston Cues on Tap, January 19

January 13, 2009

Take a break from work and come on out to Rock Bottom next Monday for our monthly Cues on Tap.  Designed for all skill levels from beginner to fluent, you’ll have a chance to brush up on your cue-reading skills, lubricate those rusty fingers with some libations, and meet new people.

Rock Bottom is one of the most popular spots in Boston.  Come on over and find out why.  Easy parking, cheap beers, hot appetizers, ice cold drinks and great company.  What more could you ask for?  We’ll be there from 7pm till late!

This event is open to all.  Even if you or your friend has never learned Cued Speech, this is the perfect opportunity to learn about the system and meet people who use it. We’ve got cue charts and cue cards for all who come!

Cues on Tap – October 25

October 12, 2008

The next DC-area Cues on Tap will be held in Bethesda, MD, on Saturday, October 25, from 6:30 – 9:00pm!

This is the same weekend as the NCSA Board meeting in Gaithersburg, MD.

Union Jack’s management has kindly reserved bar space for us, so please RSVP to me at hilarycues (at) gmail (dot) com.

If you haven’t come to a Cues on Tap before, now is the time! NCSA board members plus local DC cuers will be attending! It’s a good chance to meet the board members who are advocating for cued language services all over the country!

For more information about the NCSA, click here.

From Brad Buran:

Take a break from work and come on out to Rock Bottom next Tuesday! Even if you’re rusty or never have cued before, come join us!  After a few hot appetizers and some cold drinks, you’ll be up to speed.  This month, we have some guests from India who have been working on introducing Cued Speech (Marathi) to some schools for the deaf.  They are very interested in meeting some of the Boston-area cuers.
